Attachment-Informed Professional Development for Therapists

Being a therapist is deeply meaningful, but it can also be professionally demanding and, at times, isolating. Continuing to learn alongside other dedicated professionals is one of the best ways to sharpen your skills, expand your perspective, and remain connected to the work that inspires you. This Attachment-Informed Professional Development for Therapists group offers a collaborative learning environment for therapists, counselors, psychologists, social workers, coaches, and other helping professionals who want to deepen their understanding of attachment theory and relational healing.

Drawing from contemporary attachment research, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and interpersonal neurobiology, our discussions focus on the principles that foster emotional security and lasting psychological change. Rather than providing clinical supervision or treatment consultation, this group emphasizes education, reflective practice, and professional growth. You'll leave each meeting with new insights, a richer understanding of attachment, and greater confidence in applying these concepts thoughtfully within your own scope of practice.

My Approach

My approach is collaborative, experiential, and rooted in curiosity, humility, and lifelong learning. I believe the most meaningful professional growth occurs when we move beyond simply learning techniques and instead deepen our understanding of how people develop, relate, heal, and change.

Our discussions are informed by attachment theory, developmental psychology, interpersonal neurobiology, mindfulness, and relational approaches to psychotherapy. We explore concepts such as secure attachment, emotional regulation, reflective functioning, developmental trauma, therapeutic presence, and the healing power of relationships. Participants are encouraged to bring questions, reflect on professional experiences, and engage in thoughtful conversations that broaden their understanding of these topics.

Rather than telling participants how they should work with clients, I facilitate educational discussions that encourage independent thinking, greater self-awareness, and a deeper appreciation of attachment-informed principles. My goal is to create an intellectually engaging community where therapists continue developing both personally and professionally throughout their careers.

Why Learn With Me?

Attachment has been the central focus of my professional life for many years. My work has been shaped by advanced training with Dr. Dan Brown and David Elliott, extensive study of attachment theory and developmental psychology, and years of experience supporting individuals healing from attachment disturbances, complex trauma, anxiety, addiction, depression, and relationship challenges.

In addition to my clinical background, I have dedicated thousands of hours to studying mindfulness, contemplative psychology, and interpersonal neurobiology—disciplines that continue to shape how I understand healing and human development. These perspectives allow me to bridge research, lived experience, and practical application in a way that is both intellectually rigorous and accessible.

Participants often appreciate my ability to make complex attachment concepts understandable without oversimplifying them. Rather than positioning myself as someone with all the answers, I aim to create a collaborative learning environment where thoughtful questions, respectful dialogue, and genuine curiosity lead to lasting professional growth. Whether you're new to attachment theory or looking to deepen an established foundation, my goal is to help you continue evolving as both a professional and a person.
